National-Personal Prize!

i really dont`t have an architecture idol. I believe that the most important, in architecture at less, is the work, one of one.

Sometimes someone can do a very good job, and I can be very representing with this job, but nobodies say that the next work can result better or worse.
On Chile, is very rude to be an architect, because money is never enough, and nobodies pay for a good idea, it`s hard in Chile that someone’s pays you for new things, for project that are unique, it`s hard to innovate.
On this contest, I always look for the thing that an architect do behind this rules, the Chilean rules. And I like to think that it`s not impossible to innovate, even in a country that think that the only good thing are makes in development countries, and we only have to import the ideas and adapted to our contest.

I have good affinity with two big architect and his works. This two architect, casually have my same last name, it’s strange, but truth.
The first was teacher in this Uni, and unfortunately today rest on peace. Alberto Sartori Hevia . He was a great man, who have a very strange capacity to teach, was a very motivate, and all his students can say the same thing, that Sartori was an incredible man, with great humor sense.

About his work, I don’t have too much to say, but he had have incredible works, during more than 50 years, and his job speak for itself.

The other Architect is Guillermo Hevia, he is great contemporary architect, how put under discuss the energetic sustainability in the field of national architecture.

Today he centers his career under the industrial architect, working in Chile and Latin-American to. He put on the table practical solution that makes the energetic sustainability a very good business, so people are interested. Unfortunately the private sector only care about money and business, today is difficult that someone think in bigger thing. But Guillermo Hevia makes this possible, when he found the relation between business and energy.
In picture I show you one of the most important works of Guillermo Hevia.

Is not out of contest to remember that these two big architects studies on this University. It`s something good to think, when we project our careers.

Defending my piece!

I`m a defender of my university and the public education, along my career I have spent lot of time reading, speaking and fighting for my ideals, fighting against the system, which wants to make that public university get lost.
On these days we have a very important problem that need to solve, and the solution means not be on the authorities who think in education like a very lucrative business.
Now, young people like us have something to say about the education that we want for our country and the way that we want that the educational system works.
We are studying in a public university, so we need to defend our interests, we need to show the importance and the relevancy that mean that one country like Chile protect their public patrimony.
Student of this university have a mission that any other student can to take on, and it`s means a compromise with the people, with the develop of our country. This compromise need hard workers, need a sensitive workers who thinks in a holistic way, not only in the business or only on charity, thinking about reality.
This year is very significant because a new law will came, “the new order” that create the new relationship between the state and U Chile.
So, we need to be there.

One little piece of technology

Hi there, there is my 3th writting work.

Let me tell you that technology and I doesn’t are very friends, I have some pieces of technology like my cell phone or my computer, but it`s not something that really call my attention.
Anywhere, I need to speak about something, so I`m thinking to describe an unusual object that we use (the firefighters) to detect the exact place were fire is.
This object is a kind of laser thermometer, that we can keep on our hands and is very useful and easy to use. This Thermometer is new for us; we included it only few months ago to our work on structural fire and gases rescues.
We have many calls at week, so we use it regularly, and this thermometer result a key piece for our job, helping us to make our action faster (we always need to think less and to act more), time is something that we don`t have.
This laser show you the real place where the fire basement is, and you don`t have to spend time looking for it, spending water and energy. The thermometer detects the heat, and shows you the temperature in a little screen, so you can know where is hotter, and attack quickly that place.
Well, this laser is new, so our life without it …return to being like was before, spending more resources in water, time and energy that are normally scanty.

A day in Central Station.

I like to travel, and i like very much, but i can do this often.

So i want to tell about a place in this City.
When i was a teenager, and i bought my first digital camera, i made a group with some friends, and we decided to travel arround santiago. To as (my frinds and i) Santiago was a big city, because we lived in San Bernardo, and go into santiago was a incredible event.
We traveled around santiago taking pìctures of every abnormal thing that we saw, stupids and common thing that now, for me are too normaly that even never saw it again.
On our first odyssey, and over a long walkinf arround Matucana and Quinta normal PArk, we finish in the Central Station. For as it was an incredible thing, a magnificcent piece of structure, with a lot of people, running, selling food, playing, and many things that i can remenber but i can`t say it on english (pff).
Whatever, the point is. My three friends and I discovered a extrange place into de Central Station, a place that only a few people know about it, a lost place into the city that can transport you behind the earth to any place into Santiago, or almost we though that.
The histories that we created of this place i still remember it, we dreamed many thing about this place and we took a lot of pictures, at diferent moment of the day. With or Without the train. oH! i almost forgotten, the train was de main actor on all of our teenager stories.
This place is so secret, that I can`t speak about it. I only can to tell that this extrange place exist into the Central Station, and, if you want it, you have search and find it for your self.

Hi there.
Well, i don`t like to speak about me as well.
i think that i`m easy to know in differents situations.
But i need to finish this task.

Let me see,
I`m an architecture`s student of chile university, i`m on 4 grade, and i`m next to graduated.
that`s is bored.

this is only the beging....
and for finish, the super dooper end.
i`m happy to be here, and i`m happy to be anywhere, i can enjoy my time with friends family or by myself reading, painting speaking, etc (now i have a girlFriend. this is new), . i`m a firefighter too, so i have many funy and exciting histories to tell.
